Our first night in Paris, Brian planed a romantic dinner cruise with Bateaux Parisiens. The package-included dishes prepared from fresh produce selected daily and cooked to order, an all-inclusive a la carte meal and wine. The cruise gave us a privileged water view of Paris’s monument that lit up by night. Live music while enjoying each moment with one another. Photographers came around and capture the night and give us a photo before the night ended.
I wore a Maggie Sottero lace sheet gown that night. Maggie is one of the top wedding designers in the industry and her work is well known all through the globe. I had bought this gown as a second dress to change into for my wedding day. I did not change so I decided to take it with me to Paris. It was perfect for this evening dinner Cruise. For shoes I wore a off white lace Christian Louboutin to match.
Brian wore slim fit formal Black tuxedo. This elegant tuxedo by Joseph Abbou features satin edging and details throughout with a slim, trim fit, and smooth flat front slacks.
Accidently loving the taste of escargot. I ordered a salmon appetizer and was given an escargot soup. After a few spoons, I start to question my order and remember salmon does not look like what I am having. I really wanted to know what I was having. I referred back to the menu and matched up the description to what was on my plate. Reflecting on this now it would not be right to be in Paris and not have escargot. From this experience I made a promise to leave my American Culture behind and be open to new cultures.
